Mini-conference "Perspectives of public service development in hromadas" was held in Ternopil

On 25 April, Ternopil hosted a mini-conference " Perspectives of Public Services Development in Hromadas" for the project's partner hromadas on the establishment and modernisation of ASCs organised by PROSTO.

The purpose of the event was to bring together the first round partner hromadas that continued working on establishing proper ASCs with the support of the Project after the full-scale Russian invasion, to summarise the first results of cooperation, discuss current challenges and support hromadas network and further cooperation.

The mini-conference was attended by 23 participants from 20 hromadas of 11 oblasts of Ukraine (Dnipropetrovs'k, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi). Maryna Bobranitska, Deputy Head of the Department for Systemic Development of Administrative Service Delivery at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, welcomed the representatives of local self-governments.

Participants discussed topics such as service integration, current legislative changes, access to registers and  digitalisation, the specifics of creating a network for access to services in the community, and ASC infrastructure issues.

Separate expert sessions were devoted to the digital transformation of administrative services, effective teamwork techniques, and the specifics of applying the Law of Ukraine "On Administrative Procedure" in ASCs.

The PROSTO project team is grateful to all conference participants for their active participation, valuable experience and constructive discussions. Taking into account the results of the meeting, representatives of local self-governments, with the support of experts, continue to work on the implementation of the Roadmap for the establishment of an ASC and a proper system of accessible administrative services in the Hromadas.
